About the Role:

As a Part-Time Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring art lessons to students across various year groups. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic school environment where creativity and self-expression are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons to secondary school students.
2. Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes creativity.
3. Encourage students to develop their artistic skills and self-confidence.
4. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure a positive learning environment.
5. Work collaboratively with the teaching team to support the development of the school's art curriculum.

Essential Requirements:

1. A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
2. Experience teaching Art at secondary school level.
3. A passion for art and creativity, with the ability to inspire students.
4. Strong classroom management skills.
5. DBS clearance (we can assist with this if required).

Desirable:

1. Experience in supply teaching.
2. Ability to teach a variety of art mediums (painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, etc.).
