Police Station Cleaner

Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated Police Station Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our communities. You will be joining our Facilities Management Cleaning Team based at Goole Police Station DN14.

Your role will be to provide and maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for staff, users, and visitors to a high standard throughout the Police Station. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.

This is a Permanent Role of 16 hours per week working Monday to Friday with the flexibility to choose your set daytime hours from a 6 am start to a 12 noon start (Ideally we are looking at a 4-hour shift on Monday and then 3-hour shifts Tuesday to Friday). Flexibility is also important as these hours will increase from time to time to cover another local station (which has kennels) for holidays & sickness – hours to be discussed during the interview. Own transport is an advantage.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Damp & spot mopping, damp dust/polishing of surfaces, fixtures, and fittings
• Cleaning of restrooms, tea points, showers & toilet facilities - replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels
• To clean and sanitise touch points, door handles, push plates, skirting boards, and other surfaces
• Removal of waste from internal litter bins within the offices and meeting rooms
• Vacuuming carpeted areas including barrier matting

Key requirements:

• You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
• Obligation to adhere to safe working practices and ensure due consideration is given to the safety of the office staff
• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses
• Please Note: The appointment of this role will be subject to the completion of a Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Check and you must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
