Rotating shift pattern (days and nights)

Do you want to boost your career in a dynamic and global FMCG company? We are currently looking to recruit a Production Technician at our Aylesbury Dairy, which is the UK’s largest and most technologically advanced Fresh Milk production facility, producing 1 billion litres of milk per year. Reporting to the Operations Team Leader, you will contribute to the quality and technical areas in the production team to enable it to produce the highest quality milk products in a reliable and cost effective way.

How will you make an impact?

  • Work to high standards to achieve departmental targets in Quality, Efficiency, Waste and cost reduction.
  • Actively contribute and seek continuous improvements to achieve departmental targets.
  • Resolve minor breakdowns and carry out basic maintenance.
  • Monitor equipment performance and correct / raise issues before they become problems.
  • Maintain strict food hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • Ensure full completion of daily targets.
  • Ensure departmental procedures are followed and records are maintained.
  • Contribute to the team reporting and decision making process.
  • Ensure quality, hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
  • Actively promote communication links and good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Maintain high standards of work ethics in respect to lateness and absences.
  • Effectively run the Filling lines by using production systems such as LMS / SAP, and operating equipment such as Labeller and Fillers to produce a high quality product.
  • Plan production effectively to optimise resources and output.
  • To carry out any other duties commensurate with the role.

What do you need to succeed?

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience within an FMCG environment, however this isn’t essential as training will be provided. If you are a motivated individual who is a good team player and has a good attention to detail and good IT skills, please apply using the link!

Please note that this is a shift based role with a mix of days and nights (12 hour shifts).
