Job description

Position: Contract Product Assurance Engineer

Pay rate: Up To £44ph DOE (Outside IR35)

Location: Oxfordshire

Role Type: 12-Month Contract

iO Associates is seeking a Product Assurance Engineer from a highly regulated industry background (Space, Aerospace, Med Tech, Pharma, Defence) to join a leading organisation in the Electronics sector.



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-time and high-quality Product Assurance (PA) activities across assigned projects.
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Oversee in-build and in-test inspections, signing off reports and compliance documentation.
  • Produce and manage specialist PA documentation (PM&P, EEE, RAMS, Safety) in line with project requirements.


Experience & Skills:

  • Knowledge of European Space Industry standards and spacecraft hardware inspection (or willingness to develop these skills).
  • Strong problem-solving and reporting skills, with a structured approach to documentation and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
