HGV Technician/Breakdown Technician

Skilled and flexible HGV Technician/Breakdown Technician required for a varied role at our Reading location!

Working as part of the Reading Team, you will be responsible for completing routine maintenance inspections, servicing, general repairs right up to in-depth diagnosis, gearbox, and engine replacements - wherever your skillset will take you. We will also commit to developing you further to increase your knowledge of our Brands. When required, you will provide breakdown cover on our rota which brings additional earning opportunities.

On Target Realistic Earnings (OTE) - £59,227.00 per annum + overtime!

1. Basic Salary up to £39,000+ depending on your experience to date and your own abilities (Service Tech, Diagnostic Tech or Master Tech) - includes Shift Payment
2. Basic hours are 40 per week
3. Additional efficiency bonus up to £6,000 per annum available on reaching target (paid monthly)
4. Overtime always available
5. Weekends and outside of basic hours paid at 1.5
6. Permanent late shift available

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and 1.00pm to 10pm (one hour unpaid lunch)

Roadside Assistance element:

1. On Call Rota. Paid Standby Rates per £40.00 per night - that's an additional £6,720.00.
2. Hours worked outside your working week paid at 1 ½ - once 40 hours worked.
3. Bank Holidays on call paid at Double Time.
4. Use of Company Vehicle for week on call.
5. Roadside Training where applicable and needed.
