Step into the dynamic realm of Senior DevOps at a leading, innovative Investment/Trading company, where cutting-edge technology meets limitless potential. We are looking for the best talent, with 5+ years in a commercial environment, candidates who command a £250k+ package.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a Bachelor's degree from a Russell Group or top 100 world university, bringing exceptional expertise in automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.

You will prioritize the identification and utilization of automation opportunities, taking ownership of both development pipeline and production environment automation, including tasks such as continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.

Close collaboration with the Core Architecture team will be required to evolve and scale systems in alignment with the growing needs of the business.

You will be expert in:

• PowerShell / scripting language
• C#, Java or Python (prior history as a developer or the ability to code)
• Infrastructure As Code (Ansible, Terraform or equivalent)
• Containerization using Docker, and orchestration via Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• Monitoring with ELK, Grafana or equivalent
• CI/CD with TeamCity
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Windows and Linux administration experience

Additional desired skills include:

• Bitbucket, JIRA
• Octopus Deploy
• Static analysis tools
• Control-M
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• VMware (vSphere) and SAN experience

MUST HAVE:

Education:

A-Levels at grade A*/A/B (or international equivalent) and a minimum 2.1 degree obtained in Computer Science, or a related field, from a Russell Group University.
