Job Title: Specification Technologist
Location: Dungannon, NI
Reports to: Technical Manager

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a Specification Technologist to join an innovative food manufacturing company. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all customer specifications, pack copies, and artwork are accurately set up, maintained, and compliant with customer technical requirements. This is an exciting and dynamic role that will require a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify artwork against pack copy information to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer technical labelling policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to write raw material specifications and internal factory specifications.
• Produce and maintain necessary customer documentation to meet critical path timelines and launch deadlines.
• Support the creation and maintenance of product and packaging specifications for retail clients.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external customers, ensuring that all specifications are communicated clearly and effectively.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Assist in ensuring all labeling is compliant with food and drink regulations.
• Provide regular updates and feedback to internal teams and stakeholders regarding specification developments.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience managing multiple tasks and delivering results under tight deadlines.
• Accuracy and attention to detail when transferring data and information within specifications.
• Knowledge of food and drink labeling regulations would be beneficial.
• Previous experience in a similar role within food manufacturing, with knowledge of writing specifications for retailers, is highly advantageous.
