Our client is a tech company in the clinical research space making a real difference behind the scenes. They use machine learning and analytics to improve the quality and safety of clinical trials, but the focus here is on practical problem-solving rather than buzzwords.

In this hands-on role, you will own the development, maintenance and automation of their Azure-based services. You will ensure the service catalogue meets performance, reliability and observability standards while supporting the SRE and development teams with GitOps-enabled deployments and other key tools.

What you’ll need:

• At least three years of experience provisioning and maintaining Kubernetes on Azure
• Strong automation skills with Terraform
• A solid background in DevOps, CI/CD and GitOps approaches
• Familiarity with Azure WAF, CAF and regulated B2B SaaS environments
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana and Datadog
• Basic programming skills in Python and Bash

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain automation for Azure service deployments
• Keep the service catalogue updated and aligned with best practices
• Ensure services adhere to Azure and Kubernetes standards
• Manage on-call support for infrastructure issues
• Operate supporting tools such as GitLab and Defect Dojo
• Fully remote – UK-based (you must be in the UK, but there is no office requirement)
• Work from anywhere in the world for up to 20 days per year
• 9% pension – employer fully contributes (0% employee contribution)
