Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a Global Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our Talent Acquisition (TA) community in London, Toronto, and Asia Pac.

Reporting to the AVP TA, you will be responsible for all aspects of TA administration globally and will provide support to the TA team daily. This is an exciting role for a driven and proactive individual who is seeking a career in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment.

In the current war for talent, you will play a vital role in facilitating the candidate journey and will have the opportunity to impact each candidates’ experience of their recruitment journey with PL Re and UnderwriteMe. Attention to detail is paramount – we are a small company with high levels of recruitment, multiple stakeholders and a high volume of interviews. You will have a natural inquisitiveness for idea generation in all aspects of the world of Talent Acquisition – there will be opportunities to provide support to the AVP TA in strategic projects such as D&I, branding, culture, graduates/interns etc.

This role would suit someone working in an agency or RPO who is keen to work directly for the client, and someone who is keen to understand how data can drive recruitment strategy.

Main Duties

  • Utilise technology to efficiently schedule all interviews in all PL Re/UMe locations
  • Call direct candidates to schedule interviews
  • Liaise closely with agency suppliers
  • Provide regular updates to candidates/agencies through the interview process
  • Keep TA Team updated and informed regarding interview scheduling
  • Creation of positions correctly in Workday allowing TA team to create vacancies in a timely manner
  • Provide support to the TA team on vacancy creation, advert posting etc. during particularly busy periods
  • Support all graduate and intern recruitment campaigns in London and Toronto with responsibility for all arrangements and related administration.
  • Carry out all duties above so that the TA team, candidates, hiring managers and agencies are viewed as customers and act to exceed expectations
  • Take an active interest in understanding the context of TA and Recruitment within PL Re/UMe and externally

Skills/Experience

  • Experience in a Recruitment/TA Admin or Assistant role and understanding of TA best practice
  • Working in an administrative role
  • Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Working in a busy and demanding environment
  • High standards of quality, presentation, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage complex diary arrangements in different time zones
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to act and work on own initiative
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach to continuous improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication - written, verbal and listening
  • Systematic and logical approach
  • Flexible and willing approach to work
  • Able to exercise discretion and work in a confidential environment
  • Customer-focused approach to HR
  • Workday experience or other HR system is desirable but not essential.
