Braxfield Recruitment specialise in connecting talented individuals with meaningful opportunities. We are currently seeking an Electrical Inspector to join a dynamic local authority in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with an electrical background to join a fantastic M&E team.

Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000, excellent benefits & pension

Responsibilities:

  1. The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for overseeing electrical services, maintenance, installations and parts of complex capital works across organisational stock.
  2. Responsible for ensuring electrical compliance for the full local authority portfolio.
  3. Prepare reports as required.
  4. Work with contractors and consultant partners, colleagues and residents to ensure that customer involvement and resident satisfaction is at the core of the decision-making process and delivery of services.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience working in a similar role within a social housing provider or local authority.
  2. In depth knowledge of regulatory standards and responsibilities.
  3. Excellent communication skills, able to liaise between contractors, consultancies, residents and other stakeholders.
