Location: Scarborough

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000

This company is a design and build firm focusing on the modular and offsite construction industry. They pride themselves on exceptional quality of all their buildings and designs from start to finish. They work in numerous sectors, including education, healthcare, social housing, and more. They provide a service from initial design through to completion and are experiencing extremely high growth with a large order book. Due to this, they are looking for a Design Technician to join their close-knit, family feel team.

In this role, you will be based in their head office in Scarborough. Your main task will be to deliver an effective design process. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will work within the design team, encouraging effective design with strong communication and coordination with the construction team. You will review designs to ensure compliance with construction projects and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, contributing to the full design process to ensure every aspect runs smoothly, with no technical issues.

This role would ideally suit an ambitious individual with a strong background in Technical Design within the construction industry and experience working on a variety of projects. You will have experience with various design packages including Revit and AutoCAD, with the ability to communicate well and work to tight deadlines.
