Summary:

Our warehouses never stop running; 24 hours a day, our Warehouse Operatives work a range of shifts to ensure our stores receive the right stock when they need it. We rely on every single employee in the warehouse to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. Your energy helps get our 2,000 plus products into the hands of our customers.

As a warehouse operative, you'll quickly become proficient at the job once you've completed your basic training. The core tasks remain the same every day of the year. You'll need to take pride in a job well done. The challenge comes from working quickly, supporting the Recycling team, and working together to maximize recycling performance while minimizing waste being diverted to landfill.

In return, we'll give you a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, with an additional £2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for nights, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.

What You'll Do:

• Checking Vehicles into the Recycling Area
• Processing various types of Food Waste from the sales/store team
• Processing Card/Plastic materials efficiently
• Liaising with external contractors to ensure recycling collections are processed timely
• Liaising with the Warehouse to ensure waste is returned and processed efficiently
• Reporting any damaged items to your manager
• Taking responsibility for working through your orders independently
• Helping out in any team tasks, such as cleaning equipment and checking stock

Max. rate includes £1.50 extra per hour for hours worked in the freezer and £3.50 extra per hour for hours worked between 23.00 - 05.00.
