Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

Shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with days to be negotiated.

Please note the salary is pro rata for part time hours.

Role Overview

This is a key role within a Community Adult Mental Health Team. You will have a key role in assessment, treatment and support of adults with mental health issues residing within South Glasgow. You will manage a caseload of patients and engage in regular MDT working.

Responsibilities

  1. Participate in and provide regular Caseload Management Supervision and Clinical Supervision.
  2. Undertake Line Management responsibilities.

Qualifications

You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration. You should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal. This post requires that pre-employment checks are carried out as part of NHS GG&C Policy.

This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
