John Whitgift Academy is looking to appoint an outstanding, committed, and motivated Teacher of Science to join our academy in September 2025 on a full-time, permanent basis. ECTs are welcome to apply.
How would you like to join a rapidly expanding academy which is heading towards outstanding? Our student numbers are increasing year by year and we are the highest performing academy in North East Lincolnshire, ranking in the top 4% of the most improved academies in the country. As an academy, we are continually building on our strengths and are proud to have the highest of expectations.
We currently have over 900 students on roll aged 11-16. Our academy is situated close to the A180, making it ideal for commuting. Despite being one of the most rapidly growing academies in North East Lincolnshire due to our success and outcomes over recent years, relationships between students and staff are excellent, and we have maintained a small school friendly atmosphere. Behaviour in our academy is very good with a relentless focus on learning and aspiration.
In addition, we are fortunate to have some outstanding facilities that help to further enhance the quality of teaching and learning, such as an Engineering block, two full-size swimming pools, and a 207-seater cinema.
