Job description

A great opportunity has come up for a Demand Planner for a Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract to join my client, an established FMCG business based in West London. As the Demand Planner, you will be responsible for creating a robust demand plan from the customer requirements.

You will be tasked to deliver against business targets as well as inventory management. You’ll be expected to work with autonomy and given ownership of the regional forecasts.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating accurate, timely forecasts for your portfolio of products
  • Communicating key points in the forecast meetings including forecast peaks, forecast bias and highlighting any risks/opportunities cross-functionally
  • Providing analysis on monthly accuracy of forecast and inventory reports
  • Managing and creating weekly reports on inventory, stock, and availability
  • Working closely with marketing and sales on new initiatives and promotions
  • Working on and enhancing any processes where possible

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience in forecasting/demand planning
  • Highly analytical and good attention to detail
  • Strong communicator and able to influence key stakeholders at varying levels
  • Problem-solving mentality
  • Experience in an FMCG environment advantageous

This is a hybrid role where you'll be working 2 days a week in the office and 3 days at home.

Salary is paying up to £50,000 + benefits.
