Sound Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Sound Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for audio production and a keen ear for detail, ensuring high-quality sound for various projects. This role involves working closely with producers, directors, and other team members to create immersive audio experiences that enhance visual content.

Responsibilities

1. Operate and maintain audio equipment during recording sessions and live events.
2. Collaborate with the production team to design and implement soundscapes that align with project goals.
3. Edit and mix audio tracks using industry-standard software, ensuring clarity and balance in the final product.
4. Conduct sound checks prior to recordings and performances to guarantee optimal sound quality.
5. Troubleshoot technical issues related to audio equipment and software during production.
6. Stay updated on the latest trends in sound engineering and technology to continually improve skills and techniques.

Experience

1. Proficiency in audio editing software, with experience in Final Cut Pro being highly desirable.
2. Familiarity with video editing, photography, and the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere.
3. A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in sound engineering or related fields is preferred.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
