We are recruiting for a Senior HPC Technology Consultant to join a renowned consultancy and their client in the public sector. You will be joining the HPC & AI Business Unit, providing Hardware and Software support for large HPC systems with a prestigious UK customer. Due to the nature of the end-client, the successful candidate will need to either hold, or be eligible for SC Clearance.

Responsibilities:

Maintain records of planned maintenance actions and outcomes within the case management systems.
Ensure compliance with customer rules for change management controls.
Possess excellent customer interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Provide a professional and positive approach to the customer in the execution of all duties.

Experience Required:

Strong experience with Linux and performing hardware repairs is a must.
Experience of configuration management tools such as Ansible and Linux kernel.
Strong script writing skills on platforms such as Python, Bash, etc.
Experience with Job Schedulers such as PBS Pro/Slurm and with Infiniband is highly desirable.
