Salesforce Senior Developer

Here at JELD-WEN Europe, a global organisation that produces and manufactures Doors and Doorsets, we’re looking for a Salesforce Senior Developer based in the UK. This is a home-based role working within a growing cross functional team and offers opportunity to be hands on with the latest Salesforce products.

Reporting to the Salesforce Manager, you will be instrumental to the expansion of the European Salesforce solution, a key deliverable on our transformation project roadmaps. Features will be built on and aligned with our current Salesforce implementation and as such communication and alignment within the immediate team as well as across scrum teams is vital.

This role will require you to gain a broad understanding of the business, working across the entire European business to design and build a robust, scalable solution in line with the strategic direction of JELD-WEN. This currently includes exciting projects such as a new Salesforce re-org and telephony and CPQ systems to be integrated into Salesforce across our European estate.

What your impact will be:

• To design and deliver Salesforce solutions in line with current and future implementation to ensure robustness and scalability across the European business.
• To document design decisions, build notes and test plans.
• To become the “Go To” person for Salesforce knowledge within the value stream, whilst coaching and sharing knowledge across the delivery team.
• To work with other developers in the team and across the delivery function to ensure quality and scalability are at the forefront of our development.
• To define & document test cases and assist with UAT across the business.
• To work with the Product Owner to ensure all stories are captured and sequencing of key deliverables considered.
• Salesforce Administrator duties as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous experience (3yrs +) as a Developer working with Salesforce.
• Salesforce Platform Developer Certification & willingness to work toward further certifications.
• Able to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
• Experience as a Developer within the Manufacturing/production Industry.
• Experience with Apex and Visualforce.
• Experience with Salesforce Flows and Process Builder.
• Experience of Field Service Lightning.
• Experience with CI/CD and Deployment tools.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud desirable.
• Knowledge or Experience of Salesforce OMS or SFDX.
• Knowledge or Experience of E-Commerce/CPQ (Salesforce or other) desirable.
• Experience with providing technical solutions and supporting documentation.
• Experience of both Sales and Service Clouds.
