We are looking for experienced and ambitious Electricians to join Arriva London, based at our Tottenham Garage on a Day Shift Role.

Job Description

As a PSV Electrician, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).

The role will involve:

1. Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
2. Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
3. Auto (PSV) electrics and electric fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards
4. MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks

Shift Structure:

Day shift: Tuesday - Saturday

Requirements:

1. Electrical circuits and systems knowledge
2. Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 2 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation)
3. If you are not qualified, applications may be considered from candidates with at least 5 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV
4. Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical
