Right now, we need to strengthen our R&D team in Milton Keynes with a Software Engineer who will focus on system functionality, optimization, and innovation.

What you’ll do:

As a Software Engineer at Marshall, you'll be joining a team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about their craft, all within a highly collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Together, we push the boundaries of what’s possible in audio technology, making every day an opportunity for creativity and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with team members throughout the entire product lifecycle, from development to manufacturing and market support.
  • Deployment of firmware updates to implement new features.
  • Participate in research projects, exploring new technologies and components.
  • Contribute to keeping Marshall at the forefront of audio innovation.

Who we’re looking for:

As a Software Engineer, you have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset. Self-motivated and detail-oriented, you work independently while maintaining a focus on accuracy.

You bring experience collaborating with diverse teams and approach challenges with innovative solutions, adapting quickly to new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:

  • Several years of experience in an embedded software role
  • Experience with C programming
  • Proficiency in assembly language
  • Understanding of a wide range of interface peripherals used in embedded systems
  • Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field (Computer Science or Electronics)
  • Previous experience or involvement in the audio/music technology field is an advantage.
