Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions leveraging tools such as Databricks, AWS, Azure, DBT, etc.
2. Implement solutions using a wide array of technical skills and demonstrating your strong grasp of Python, DBT, and SQL languages as well as your high level of knowledge developing on and across AWS and Azure cloud technologies.
3. Partner with business analysts and internal teams to gather requirements and propose effective, scalable solutions.
4. Drive projects from ideation through to successful delivery, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and business objectives are met.
5. Stay abreast of the latest data engineering trends and technologies.
6. Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Your background and who you are:

1. You possess extensive development experience on AWS or Azure, demonstrating proficiency in cloud technologies, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
2. You excel at multi-tasking and thrive in both global team environments and independent settings, taking full ownership of your tasks.
3. You can seamlessly transition between working autonomously and collaborating with teams, adapting to the needs of each project.
4. You are passionate about data, staying updated with the latest technologies, and continuously learning to enhance your skills.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or a related field (preferred) or an equivalent work experience.
2. Proven track record of developing data solutions using Cloud technologies.
3. AWS certifications are highly desirable.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
6. Quick learner capable of producing high-quality code in a dynamic team setting.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
8. Understanding of financial services or asset management solutions is preferred.
9. Experience building scalable APIs; microservices experience is a plus.
