We are looking for a Mitigation Technician, Water to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of water treatment systems. You will teach customers how to use their equipment, troubleshoot issues, and follow company procedures.

Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and install radon mitigation systems including:
- Configure and plumb the installation of the water treatment systems.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting issues.
- Install all materials needed; run pipes for plumbing and installation of the equipment.
- Occasional light digging and/or excavation of materials on site.
- Use, maintain, clean and organize company vehicle.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
- Post installation testing and diagnostics of systems.
- Post installation water sampling and diagnostics of systems.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
- Provide great customer service and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate to customers how to use the equipment.
- Respond quickly to customer problems or issues.
- Document job details in accordance with company policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within and meet established deadlines.
- Punctual.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and attention to detail.
- Must have a clean background, a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- This job operates primarily in a field environment and routinely requires walking, climbing ladders and lifting of equipment.
- The job requires good physical health and ability to perform hands-on construction work.
- Capable of occasionally working in crawl spaces, in attics and on roofs.
- Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds.
- Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to work on extension ladders.
Travel
- Daily local travel in company vehicle.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- NRPP certification for radon mitigation, or ability to obtain this certification within established timeline upon hire.
- Self-starter with a proven track record of working independently.
- Ideal candidates should have some experience in any of the following trades but not required: Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, General Labor, HVAC, etc.
$20 - $20 an hour
This position offers competitive compensation. Compensation varies based on skill, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for competitive benefits and travel reimbursement. Pay for this position starts at $20. This position offers growth potential and pay will increase as your experience further develops!
