Broker Support Officer

Our client seeks a Broker Support Officer to join their sales team.

You will assist with the maintenance of broker files and details, and support a seamless introduction and ongoing relationships for key distributors with the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the successful delivery of the departmental objectives along with your own.
• Be a team player and contribute to the “one team” approach across sales.
• Take ownership of and resolve any queries through to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Support ongoing reviews and updating of procedures within the team and department.
• Responsible for the accurate and efficient completion of administrative tasks provided to you.
• Ensure pended work is reviewed, chased and closed within expected timescales.
• Proactive, solutions-based approach to understanding issues which arise, and able to implement actions according to administrative policies and procedures.
• Timely and professional contact with stakeholders should be maintained at all times.

Broker Administration Tasks Including:

• Setting up Terms of Business
• Cancellation of Terms of Business
• Company Name Change
• Director/Shareholders changes
• Onboarding of Brokers
• Migration clean-up of data
• Data Feed requests (Jira)

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial services or insurance industry.
• Familiarity with offshore financial markets and regulatory requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Competent in Microsoft applications: Including Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI, and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
