Assistant Quantity Surveyor - South West London

An established medium-sized consultancy specialising in high-end residential projects in the UK and internationally is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their London-based team as they expand.

The company has a workforce of 24 people and aims to grow to 28/30 by the end of the year. They are committed to providing strong APC support and assisting in the professional development of their staff.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will assist with the management of projects from concept to completion, taking on both pre and post-contract duties. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment within a dynamic team.

You will be responsible for:

1. Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates
2. Supporting project delivery from initial concept to final account
3. Contributing to cost reporting and budgeting
4. Assisting with tender documentation and submissions
5. Engaging with stakeholders and contributing to team meetings

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Requirements

1. BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
2. Experience working on residential projects
3. Experience within a private practice/consultancy
4. Basic pre and post-contract knowledge
