Principal Consultant - Civil/Structural Design

One of the UK's best medium sized consultancies is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to their Building Structures team. With a great pipeline of varied work moving forward, this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to diversify their project portfolio.

Location: Glasgow

The Role

1. Design a variety of steel, concrete, and timber structures within the built environment.
2. Be the client’s point of contact throughout the project’s life cycle.
3. Oversee junior engineers and technicians and delegate the workload to ensure the smooth running of projects.

The Requirements

1. At least a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar.
2. Significant design experience within the building structure environment. A varied background to support the varied work would be beneficial.
3. Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership with ICE or IStructE.
4. Good communication skills for liaising with clients and staff management.
