Accounts Assistant
Job description
Experienced Part-time Accounts Assistant required for an award-winning company based in Bradford.
- This is a newly created role due to business growth/demands.
- Part time - 3 days per week - flexible with the hours/days to suit business needs.
- Initially remote working but must be local to Bradford area.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Financial record keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including reconciling balance sheets.
- Accounts payable and receivable: Process invoices, manage accounts payable and perform accounts receivable responsibilities.
- Payroll: Track hours, calculate deductions and manage relationship with potential service provider (c20 employees and c120 contractors).
- Financial data entry: Enter financial data onto Xero, including contractor and staff timesheets, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Financial analysis: Analyse financial data to support business decisions.
- Expense requests: Process expense requests.
- Other support: Provide support and assistance to the senior leadership team as required.
The person:
- Previous experience is essential.
- Good IT skills, including Excel, are essential.
- Knowledge of Xero is desirable.
- Good attention to detail is required.
