What's the role?

We are looking for an experienced buyside salesperson to focus and grow our presence in the UK and sell our Bloomberg enterprise-wide multi-asset solutions. AIM provides portfolio management, trading, and compliance and operations functionality.


As an enterprise buyside salesperson you will also be responsible for enterprise engagements encompassing our Portfolio and Analytics tools, Risk management system and Data offerings. This will be an EMEA based role but will involve global collaboration with both internal colleagues and global clients. We will task you to foster strong relationships with key senior decision makers in the world's leading asset managers.


We will trust you to:
  1. Apply your strong product knowledge, technical skills, and market knowledge to generate revenue for Enterprise Businesses & all of Bloomberg's solutions.
  2. Manage enterprise sales engagements with multiple partners, and long-term requirements.
  3. Articulate the features and benefits of Bloomberg enterprise level products in detail, so that you can act as a partner for your customers.
  4. Develop an in-depth knowledge of what your customers do so that you can position our products to them at multiple phases of an engagement to multiple collaborators.
  5. Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate and address client needs.
  6. Collaborate internally to implement and complete valuable client solutions.
  7. Participate actively in new projects that drive departmental and firm-wide initiatives and goals.
  8. Seek out additional ways to make an impact, such as mentoring, involvement in training, running campaigns, and active involvement in product enhancement.

You'll need to have:
  1. Demonstrated knowledge of the buyside workflow and technology having spent extensive time working with technology on the buyside or selling relevant technology to the buyside.
  2. Sales experience, or drive to be a salesperson and partner with clients and other Bloomberg salespeople to drive an enterprise sales process.
  3. Exemplary presentation, training, and communication skills in English.
  4. The ability for regular travel.
