Junior Health and Safety Advisor (Industrial)

£30,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Monday - Friday + Company Benefits

Do you have a NEBOSH General Certificate? On offer is a varied Health and Safety role offering the chance to upskill yourself through specialist training within a well-established company at a fast-paced Industrial site in a hands-on role offering ongoing progression to senior roles. This well-established company has been providing their services for well over 150 years across the industrial sector and works with a broad client base including global leaders in the defence industry. Due to continual growth, they are looking to add an experienced Health and Safety Officer to their team in Glasgow.

In this dynamic role, you will receive initial training and then be responsible for monitoring the safety of the workforce activities through audits and inspections, as well as conducting some occasional in-house training for managers and operatives. You will work Monday - Friday 07:30 am - 17:00 pm at a Naval / Marine site in Glasgow. This role would suit someone with a NEBOSH General Certificate looking for a dynamic and varied role within a well-established company offering a range of training and ongoing progression to senior roles.

The Role:

• Receive training from senior staff
• Monitor the safety of the workforce
• Inspecting and auditing
• Hands-on role
• Work within a tight-knit team, supporting operatives
• Oversee all site-based compliance
• Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:30

• NEBOSH Qualified
• Looking for a hands-on role
• Commutable to Glasgow
