Logistics Coordinator

A fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join a manufacturing business based in Reading with a salary up to £33,000.

This role has been created due to business growth & recent acquisitions. The Logistics Coordinator will sit in the operations department, with excellent progression opportunities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Processing orders in accordance with timelines agreed with the customer and to the required GDP standards.
• Producing all export paperwork and providing it to the customer while filing it in accordance with company requirements.
• Raising all legal export documents in accordance with customer requirements and filing them.
• Liaising with approved freight providers to arrange suitable shipping of goods.
• Establishing optimum logistical arrangements and coordination of in-bound consignments (including raw materials, finished goods, packaging).
• Communication and filing of all relevant paperwork.
• Managing monthly invoicing creation and credit management responsibilities.
• Responsible for working in accordance with compliance procedures, legislation, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Person Specification:

• Knowledge/Experience of SAP is essential.
• Experience working within import/export and customs clearance environment (Air/Road).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages.
• Ability to work under pressure in a progressive and changing environment.
• Excellent spoken and written communication.
• Experience of managing relationships with 3PLs and suppliers is essential.

This position offers two days a week working from home.
