Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our EV software and hardware solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially focused professional who understands the EV ecosystem, can build strong client relationships, and generate new business opportunities. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, collaborating with technical teams, and delivering innovative solutions to fleet operators, charge point operators, utilities, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for EV charging software and hardware solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including fleet operators, charge point operators (CPOs), energy providers, and OEMs.
  • Understand customer needs and present tailored solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and contract negotiations.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure product-market fit and effective solution implementation.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with technology providers, software developers, and infrastructure firms.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Track sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the EV, energy, or technology sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure, smart charging software, and fleet electrification.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to grasp complex software solutions (such as charge management platforms) and hardware products.
  • Sales Expertise: Track record of winning new business, closing deals, and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Networking & Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and address customer pain points.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and familiarity with SaaS business models.
