Procurement Manager, Holton Heath, £40,000

As Procurement Manager for this solutions provider, you will be responsible for assisting, defining, and implementing strategies across the business in relation to commodity procurement.

In this newly created role, reporting directly into the Head of Operations, you will be instrumental in ensuring the on-time delivery of materials in line with quality, cost, and delivery performance. With a clear focus on enhancing existing processes and procedures, you will align procurement activities with the business objectives.

Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a robust supplier selection process.
2. Foster and develop relationships with key suppliers.
3. Develop and implement long-term agreements for the supply of key components/products that will support the manufacturing and sales forecast.
4. Use the company's system to determine material requirements in line with production build schedules.
5. Ensure materials are sourced in line with quality, service, and OTD.

Procurement Manager Skills & Experience Required:

1. Security Clearance is essential.
2. Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
3. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
4. A strategic mindset with the ability to deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
