Basic Purpose:

With a focus on EMEA Equities, execute trades for MFS funds and clients, and contribute to the MFS trading and investment process.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Execute single stock and program Equities trades across the EMEA region while seeking best execution.
2. Collaborate with global investment team on execution strategy and liquidity needs.
3. Leverage technology and analytics to improve MFS execution quality and liquidity access.
4. Source, filter, develop and distribute relevant market color, content and liquidity opportunities to the investment team.
5. Collaborate with and assist functional teams throughout the firm, including operations, compliance, client services and the broader trading team.
6. Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships for the purpose of delivering on the above responsibilities.
7. Follow and support MFS policies and procedures, including best execution, trade allocation and more as required.
8. Assume additional responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum of 10+ years of Equities trading or related experience, including EMEA-specific experience.
2. Thorough understanding of relevant markets and investments.
3. Experience with order management systems, electronic trading platforms and traditional voice trading practices.
4. Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
5. Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
