INTRODUCTION
Our client is an ambitious international KBB, bathrooms and interiors brand with an emphasis on product and design excellence. They have a longstanding UK presence and global operations employing over 500 staff. The company is now looking to further develop its A&D partnerships.

TITLE
Specification Sales Manager

LOCATION
South East & London (Remote / Field based role)
Ideally based in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, London, or close.

THE JOB ROLE
The Specification Sales Manager position is a proactive project-based sales role and a key part of our client’s sales and marketing operation. The role entails:

1. Winning specifications and selling a high-quality range of bathroom products, taps, and brassware.
2. Managing an existing network of customer relationships, contacts, and existing projects within architects, specifiers, interior designers, and high-end developers and contractors.
3. Engaging with weekly incoming leads and marketing enquiries – identifying viable new business opportunities within projects.
4. Utilising product, brand, and marketing materials, working with experienced colleagues to provide technical guidance and advice.
5. Building an effective and profitable sales and project pipeline (typical order values from £50K-400K per project).
6. Managing CRM and database records, ensuring effective operational and sales processes.

THE PERSON NEEDED
For the Specification Sales Manager, our client is open on specific product experience but is looking for:

1. Prior experience in a similar specification sales role i.e. winning new projects with architects, specifiers, or interior designers.
2. Experience selling a related performance construction or interiors product.
3. A confident and dynamic approach to sales, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. The desire to contribute to a knowledgeable, professional, positive, and supportive team.

THE REWARDS
£60K Basic salary + 25% annual sales bonus
