Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. To undertake site surveys to accurately assess and appraise as-built details of existing structures and prepare sketches of the same.
2. To undertake construction site inspections to check the quality of workmanship and compliance of construction with the drawn details.
3. Liaising with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals.
4. To attend site meetings with Contractors and professional team members.
5. To comply with the company’s Quality Assurance procedures.
6. To undertake training and continuing professional development (CPD).

Qualifications and Experience:

1. BEng or MEng in civil and/or structural engineering.
2. Demonstrable experience of working at a Project Lead/Senior level, including management of staff.
3. Achieved or close to Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Great team-working and personable approach to clients.
6. Prepared to work as part of a team or as an individual.
7. Candidates must be willing to spend time on site and occasional stays away from home.
8. Full UK driving licence preferred.
