Buying Admin Assistant

Do you have a keen interest in fashion and the buying process? Are you highly organised and eager to learn?

Whistles are looking for an enthusiastic Buying Admin Assistant to join our Non-Garments team. In this role, you'll play a key part in assisting our Buyers in developing and delivering our non-garments, coats and leather collections that set our brand apart.

Key accountabilities include:

• Critical Path and Sample Management: You'll be the go-to person for all things critical path and sample management, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Trend Analysis: You'll contribute to analysing competitor activity and seasonal trends, keeping us ahead of the curve.
• Range Sign-Off and Buying Processes: You'll assist the buying team in coordinating and preparing for range sign-off meetings, managing the systems and processes that keep things moving.
• Commercial Mindset: You'll develop a deep understanding of our Whistles business and contribute to delivering profitable ranges that maximise commercial opportunities for us.

About You

You'll be joining a very collaborative team and we'll make sure you have all the training and resources you need to succeed from day one. While previous experience in a buying environment would be a bonus (either through work, industry placement, or internship), it's not essential.

What's most important is that you have a strong commercial mindset and passion for contributing to the success of our Whistles brand. You'll need to be a resourceful communicator, able to remain calm under pressure and build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
