Home Instead Reigate and Tandridge is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Care Professionals. As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing companionship, home help, and assisting with washing and dressing to older people within their homes.

These are some of the areas in which we support:

Reigate, Redhill, Bletchingley, Godstone, Oxted, Tandridge, Westerham, Biggin Hill, Merstham, Coulsdon, Caterham, and Purley.

We were established in 2010 and have an Outstanding CQC rating.

Job Description

Care Assistant Benefits:

• Excellent pay rates: from £12.15 to £16.10 per hour, double time bank holiday enhanced rates.
• Types of hours available: From 16hrs to 35+ hours available.
• Mostly, we make 2-hour calls: but never less than 1-hour – you have the time needed with the client.
• Area: We always try to keep you as close to home as possible.

• Mileage: 0.35p per mile after the first 7 miles.
• Taking Clients out in your car: 0.45p per mile.

Care Assistant Responsibilities: Being a companion is a highly rewarding career, where no two days are the same! With a minimum of 1-hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high-quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction. This is an extremely important part of your visit.
• Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework.
• Accompanying to appointments or shopping.
• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.

Qualifications

No qualifications are needed. We provide all your training in-house. Care experience is welcomed but not essential.
