The Department of Chemical Engineering is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Peptide Chromatography. They should be experienced in advanced HPLC instrumental methods for peptide purification using RPLC. A detailed understanding of RPLC and peptide separation/purification methodologies will be required. You will be a member of a small team working at Imperial College and with our industrial partners on the project.
To carry out a research programme in Peptide Chromatography which is focused on the development of improved RPLC methods for purifying industrial peptide reaction mixtures. You will be required to develop new and novel methods for peptide purification using RPLC, including optimisation of the process with respect to industrial impurities and industrial column loading levels.
You can start immediately and the contract will run for 12 months in the first instance, with the possibility of extension subject to research funding. The post is based in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London (South Kensington Campus).
*New appointments will have a maximum starting salary of £51,885 based on experience.
