An exciting opportunity has arisen for a long term contract within a dynamic & growing industry.

Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Manufacturing Engineer located in Belfast. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and improving manufacturing processes, designing and implementing machinery and equipment, and ensuring the efficiency and quality of production. Daily tasks include troubleshooting issues on the production floor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. The engineer will also be involved in conducting time and motion studies, implementing cost-saving measures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering
  • Strong foundation in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles
  • Experience in Machining and related techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
