Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Principal Statistician to join a leading EMEA based Pharmaceutical company in a remote or hybrid capacity. As the Principal Statistician you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative analytical services within a clinical setting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Independently create and review statistical documents such as Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and Statistical Analysis Reports (SARs).
2. Perform a variety of statistical analyses independently for both straightforward and complex projects.
3. Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, supporting them through career development planning.
4. Interact regularly with a broad range of stakeholders, communicating proactively and clearly, including technical subjects.

Role Requirements

1. Master’s degree in Medical Statistics / Statistics with proven experience in the application of statistics on clinical trials within industry. This could be either Pharmaceutical and or CRO.
2. Proven ability to communicate fluently and present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
