Institutional Client Relationship Director [German-speaker]

We have been mandated on an exciting position with a leading global asset manager. They are seeking an experienced German-speaking Institutional Client Relationship Director to join their team in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of Institutional clients and act as the first point of contact.
  2. Display an acute understanding of clients’ decision-making processes and long-term objectives and provide high level technical support, answer queries and identify opportunities and threats.
  3. Identify leads and sales opportunities with the aim to maximise revenue.
  4. Display technical knowledge in areas such as the company’s products, brand, services and competitors.
  5. Develop knowledge of the current investment market, economic issues and views, to be able to discuss solutions with clients and consultants.
  6. Liaise closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Product & Operations to communicate client updates and resolve issues.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Business fluency in German essential.
  2. Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Relationship Management/Client Services position within investment management.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income strategies.
  4. Ability to build strong relationships with external clients/contacts across all levels.
  5. Highly organised, proactive and ability to work on own initiative.
  6. IMC and/or CFA/MBA highly desirable.
