Job description

Start date: ASAP

Remote: Fully remote with travel to London twice a month

Reporting to: On Trade Manager

Contract type: Permanent, full time (5 days)

Working hours: 40 hours a week including a paid lunch hour. Flexible start (between 8am and 10am and finish (between 4pm and 6pm) times.

Our team in the UK has grown to more than 40 people and we’re not stopping there, we’re looking for a superstar Business Development Manager to join our On Trade team.

The Role:

This role will be tasked with winning new stockists, developing current business, providing the best customer service and delivering first class brand activation within the Independent Free Trade (IFT) in key cities in the North of England such as Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle amongst others. You will look to build strong Business plans to deliver on key MOTH metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the On Trade Manager and National Account Manager to deliver profitable growth within the On Trade Channel
  • Maintain and manage a portfolio of accounts with regular sales calls
  • Achieve new MOTH listings in Northern Based Groups and Key IFT Outlet
  • Manage and grow our existing base of MOTH stockists
  • Split of role: New Business 90% Existing Business 10%
  • Delivery of Key business metrics such as volume targets, menu feature, net sales growth and profitability
  • Develop, Manage and Nurture relationships with On Trade Wholesalers
  • Working closely with our Marketing team to Implement the ‘best in class’ activation

Who you are:

  • Strong knowledge of the UK Drinks Industry, preferably On Trade
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience UK Drinks Industry
  • Prior experience of managing Key Accounts and building commercial deals
  • Passionate about working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment with a can-do attitude
  • Highly motivated, self starter, eager to achieve success
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to drive decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
  • Clean Driving License
  • Ability to travel to Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle (amongst others).

Flexible working hours - Core working hours are 10am-4pm so you can choose your working hours to suit you (e.g. 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm)

Bonus - up to 20% subject to personal and Company Performance, paid annually

Working from abroad - for up to 2 weeks' per year
