The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Commercial Officer?

• Lead the commercial input for tenders, preparing proposals, and supporting negotiations.
• Prepare and evaluate responses to customer enquiries and Invitations to Tender.
• Act as the primary commercial contact within the FASW segment, providing expert guidance on commercial and legal queries.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to manage commercial aspects of programme delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Support commercial administration activities across the UK line of business.
• Assist the Trade Controls Manager in ensuring trade control documentation is in place for bids.

What are we looking for in our next Commercial Officer?

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
• Previous commercial experience is advantageous.
• Strong team player with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
