Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We're recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Selby area. This role is working for a leading manufacturer with a wide range of machinery on site. The business is expanding and has the immediate need for a Mechanical Maintenance Electrician to join their close-knit team. The Person:

1. NVQ Level 3 (Apprentice Trained).
2. Experience in a manufacturing setting.
3. Have worked as: Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Industrial Electrician, or Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician.
4. Self-motivated, trustworthy, with an eye for detail.

The Role:

1. Planned Preventative Maintenance.
2. Maintenance of a wide range of machinery including packaging, washers, metal detectors, print machinery, and conveyors.
3. 3 Phase / Single Phase.
4. PLC Fault finding.
5. Adhering to site H&S procedures.
6. Reactive Maintenance.
7. Liaising with production to ensure minimal machinery downtime.

This role works a shift pattern that changes for peak. Half of the year on a specific pattern. Half of the year on days, nights, and afternoon shifts that incorporate weekend working to meet site requirements.

Salary on offer is £40,000 + generous overtime rates available.
