Penmellyn Veterinary Group are a fantastic group of practices located in the stunning county of Cornwall. This vacancy is for our St Columb Major Hospital, however, you will work across all of our 6 sites. St Columb Major is close to the A30 road and the coast, making it conveniently located while still avoiding the crowds of tourist destinations.

We have a large, supportive and dedicated team of 30 Vets and 46 Nurses as well as a wonderful support and administrative team who are looking forward to welcoming a new grad into Penmellyn! Within our team, we have certificate holders in Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopaedics and Emergency and Critical Care.

Practice facilities and equipment include CT scanner, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography, EPOC and laparoscope.

Step into a supportive start

40 hours per week. 1:4 weekday rota available, every other one day per weekend. No out of hours as we have our own dedicated out of hours team on site. This allows a great work life balance.

You will be supported by having regular meetings with your dedicated GDP advisor. As mentioned, we have a very supportive team, with certificate holders and experienced Vets to hand for help and advise.
