Contract Lead Business Analyst (commodities trading)

Contract: 12 months

X4 Technology are partnered with a fast-growing, well-backed energy trading firm in London, offering an exciting opportunity for a Lead Business Analyst to join their global team for a 12 month day-rate contract.

In this dynamic role, you'll support the BA team with product onboarding onto ETRM, monthly releases of new ETRM features, project delivery (emissions trading, power trading, exchange onboarding etc) and mentoring/leadership on prioritisation, Kanban boards, monthly releases, escalations and business review meetings with front-office stakeholders.

Requirements of the Lead Business Analyst (commodities trading)

• Proven track record as a Lead/Senior Business Analyst in energy and commodities trading domains, including leadership and guidance for more junior BAs
• Deep knowledge of ETRM systems, including trade execution, valuations, P&L management, MTM, risk exposure, curve configuration etc
• Expert in Business Analysis methodologies including JIRA, Kanban boards and utilising data-driven insights
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities/workstreams concurrently with assurance and composure
• Gravitas, clarity of thought process and outstanding stakeholder engagement with front office users
