Live-in Domestic Couple based in Surrey – Start ASAP

We have a tremendous opportunity for a hardworking and flexible Couple who are looking for their next long-term role.

A busy family is looking for a friendly, experienced, and proactive Couple to join them on their country farm in Surrey. You will be required to work Thursday to Monday, working up to 50 hours per week.

There will occasionally be longer days over the weekend, but you can manage your own time and work less during the week in these circumstances. This is a relaxed, yet semi-formal household that requires a switched-on Couple who are organised and can manage their own time efficiently. Must love dogs.

Gardener/Driver Duties:

• Gardening for a large garden, including the use of a ride-on lawnmower
• Care of courtyards and surrounding areas to the main house
• Interior and exterior maintenance
• DIY
• Chauffeuring duties, as and when required
• Care of the family vehicles, including cleaning and refueling
• Helping at parties and with any heavier work
• Pet sitting when the family travels
• Security of the property

Housekeeping Duties:

• Laundry, ironing, and fabric care
• Care of antiques and delicate items
• Provisioning for the household
• Running local errands
• Occasional cooking
• Helping at parties
• Working in a team of 3 housekeepers, so a good team player
• Pet sitting when the family travels
• Security of the property

The Couple will be given a self-contained 2-bedroom cottage (including garage) on the estate and are required to work Thursday to Monday with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off each week.

The ideal candidates will be kind, happy to lend a hand whenever needed, and become an extension of the family.

Additional Details:

Position: Permanent

Start: Immediately

Hours: Thursday to Monday, up to 45 hours per week each

Combined Salary: £70,000 gross per annum

Accommodation: 2-bedroom cottage (unfurnished), with garage & garden
