The Process Transformation and Integration Manager is responsible for the re-engineering of processes across multiple countries and systems within an International Business Service Centre.

The Team

The Heidelberg Materials (HM) International Business Service Centre (BSC) provides administrative, transactional and accounting services to in-scope HM companies.

The Process Transformation and Integration Managers will work to re-engineer end to end processes and systems, to support delivery of the Heidelberg Materials synergies and automation roadmap.

Key Accountabilities

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Operating as the BSC expert on allocated systems and processes, with detailed knowledge and conceptual understanding of relevant business systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and advice on issue resolution to the in-scope businesses where relevant.
  • Provision of SME input to support training for new transitions, system roll outs and BSC team development.

End to End Process Redesign

  • Translate high level process definition into efficient and effective end to end processes.
  • Working with Local Countries and GPOs to test and implement updated processes, including close monitoring and management of hyper care issues arising.
  • Validate process changes across the BSC, to ensure that no new variants are created, and all changes increase alignment to group standards.
  • Drive the reduction in variants in assigned area, to increase standardisation and future automation potential.

Stakeholder and Project Management

  • BSC representative at multi country / discipline Project Team Meetings to ensure that decisions are aligned to group standards and no new variants are created.
  • Leading Project meetings for BSC lead initiatives.
  • Drive relevant project progress, to ensure that they deliver to time, and in line with projected benefit cases.
  • Escalation of any emerging risks relating to project delivery or local country alignment to the Deputy Head of Process Transformation & Integrations.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Delivery of targeted BSC efficiencies through process transformation.
  • Identification of system development and automation opportunities.
  • Provide systems support.
  • Lead on process reviews, system changes and other projects.
  • Preparation and delivery of information for inclusion in reports or presentations.
  • Positively support a team and department in change and innovation.
  • Act as an ‘IT liaison officer’ to convey center wide messaging related to information technology issues or notifications.

Skills / Experience

  • Experience of working with ServiceNow, Basware, SAP or other systems integrated with an ERP.
  • Proven experience as an analyst or worked in the Procurement to Pay (P2P) area with a focus on process continuous improvement or process reengineering.
  • Experience of working with systems teams and be able to translate business problem statements into relevant requirements for technical teams.
  • Excellent data and reconciliation skills.
  • Understanding of project delivery methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to map out detailed business processes and identify dependencies, interfaces, risks, and issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, in a team and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Highly motivated and able to engage with stakeholders of all levels in the organisation.
