Multi-Trade Carpenter

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join North Warwickshire Council's Social Housing Team on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To undertake all aspects of Joinery and general repairs, maintenance and refurbishment work within company owned dwellings/properties and properties owned by partner organisations, providing the best quality and most efficient service delivery and customer care in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
2. Responsibility for undertaking allocated responsive repair jobs, void works, or planned maintenance jobs.
3. Attend pre-arranged responsive repair appointments to carry out work or contact tenants directly to make access arrangements.
4. Supply, maintain and ensure any required inspections and checks are made to personal tools appropriate to the trade and nature of works carried out.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Joiner/Carpenter.
2. Previous experience of working in Social Housing.
3. Full UK Drivers Licence.
4. Ability to work on an out of hours rota for emergencies.
