Welding Technician

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a skilled Welding Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for production rates, problem solving and creating programs from scratch for our Fanuk robot equipment.

What you’ll do:

1. Troubleshoot Robot welders and ancillary equipment
2. Ensure equipment can produce parts at the correct rate and troubleshoot any issues with achieving that rate
3. Arrange service and repair with our sub-contractors
4. Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
5. Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
6. Perform other duties as assigned

What you bring:

1. Proven experience in writing programs for Fanuk robots from scratch
2. Proven experience in problem solving on Fanuk robots
3. Proficiency in manual spot and robot spot welding techniques
4. Proficiency in manual and robot Mig welding techniques
5. Proficiency in seam/stitch welding
6. Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance

Hours of work at 39 hours per week working the day shift starting 8am.

Rate of pay £14 - £15 per hour
