Job description

We are looking for a passionate and driven cyber-security professional to join an established IT team in a materials technology business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor networks for security breaches
  2. Investigate, document, and report breaches
  3. Research IT security trends and technologies
  4. Assist users with security products and procedures
  5. Plan, design, and execute security training
  6. Suggest improvements for security weaknesses
  7. Regular security reporting to IT Manager
  8. Network protection using Cisco Meraki equipment
  9. Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability
  10. Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  11. Implement CIS Security Project controls

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  1. Proficient with security tools, data analysis, high interest in cyber security
  2. Hons degree or higher in Computing/Cyber Security (2.1 or higher)
  3. Experience with Darktrace security tools
  4. Basic networking knowledge
  5. 1+ year experience in IT, networking, or security
